Planned Plan F Changes
The Affordable Care Act has scheduled changes to plan F medicare supplements to take effect in year 2020. The specifics for these changes have not been released yet, but they are likely to have some cost sharing components added. Right now plan F is to rich a plan for the ACA. What this means is new to medicare buyers are likely to purchase some other plan than plan F and that will cause plan F rates to increase at a faster pace than the rest of the market. You will be able to keep your plan F, but you may not want to because of these rate increases.
